Physicist 1878-1968

She gave the first theoretical explanation of the fission process. While exiled in Stockholm during the second world war, she kept in constant collaboration with her partner in chemistry, Otto Hahn. Although the Nobel Committee overlooked her vital contribution, the element Meitnerium, a transuranian element, is named after her.

This is simply stunning. The print is very high quality and looks like an original unless you're looking at it up close. I'm having it professionally framed with museum quality materials because it's going to hang in my kitchen, an ode to Marie's cooking pitchblende to source radium. Very happy with my purchase!
